Arianna Bird Haven - Heartfelt Creations

Can you believe it's Christmas Eve already?  I'm so not ready for it!

Today I have a cute floral birdhouse card for you using Heartfelt Creations' Arianna Bird Haven Set for the image and the Lullaby Darlings Set for the sentiment.

I colored the image with pencils and mineral spirits and cut it with a Labels 4 die. The mat behind it is the Elegant labels 4 die cut in white.  The background mat is embossed with Pirouette Embossing Folder and glued to a white card base.  I added Avocado Liquid Pearls to the flower centers and a silk multi-loop bow with an adhesive pearl in the center.

Stamp Arianna Bird Haven image and sentiment from Lullaby Darlings on Solar White with Onyx Black Ink as shown and color with pencils and mineral spirits. Die cut image with Labels 4 and add to card with pop dots. Add dots of Avocado Liquid Pearls to flower centers. Make multi-loop bow with silk ribbon using Bow-Easy Tool and add to card as pictured using glue dots. Add adhesive pearl to bow center using glue dot.

Time for a little Heartfelt Creations inspiration!  This week I have a Christmas card!

I used the Christmas Poinsettia and Holly Berry Sets from last year's Christmas collections.  The images are stamped with VersaMark Ink, heat embossed with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and colored with chalk inks.  Here's a little close up of the flower.

Instructions: Make a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base with Natural White. Cut mat with Natural White measuring 4 1/16" x 5 5/16". Wrap 2 pieces of Cream Seam Binding around mat as shown and secure in back. Add mat to base using pop dots.

Stamp Christmas Poinsettia and Holly Berry Leaves (one of each) on Natural White with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel by applying heat from underneath. Cut all with matching dies. Select 3 different size flowers and apply Eggplant Chalk Ink to center of each petal using makeup applicators so that the color fades to the outside of the petal. Spritz the back of the flowers with water and shape with fingers. Once dry, glue together with Art Institute Glue offsetting petals. Color leaves and swirls with Hint of Pesto Chalk Ink and Eggplant on the berries. Spritz with water on back and shape with fingers and mat and tool kit as desired. Once dry, arrange as shown and glue down with Art Institute Glue. Add adhesive pearl to flower center.

Stamp sentiment on Natural White with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss with Pirates Gold Embossing Powder. Die cut with classic tag from Luggage and Tag Die and add as shown using pop dots. Add dots of Bisque Liquid Pearls as shown.

It's time for a little inspiration from Heartfelt Creations!  This week I have a sweet hummingbird and bleeding heart card for you!

This image is from the Heartthrob PreCut Set which I colored with pencils and mineral spirits and then die cut it with the Elegant Ovals Die.  I stamped the image again to color an extra hummingbird that I could then pop on top of the original image to make it stand out a little more.

Instructions: Make white card base measuring 4 1/2" x 5 5/8". Cut mat with Sunrise Orchid measuring 4 5/16" x 5 7/16" and white mat 4 1/8" x 5 1/4". Emboss white mat with folder and glue mats together. Add to card base with pop dots.

Stamp Heartthrob image on Solar White with Onyx Black Ink twice. Color one image completely and the bird only on the second with pencils and mineral spirits. Die cut the full image with Elegant Ovals and fussy cut the hummingbird. Lightly ink the bird edges with black ink and add to main image with pop dots. Add oval image to card with pop dots.

Make multi-loop bow with fibers and bow tool and add to image as pictured using glue dots. Thread fiber through button and add to bow center with glue dots. Add adhesive pearls to top right.
