Monkeys Special Day

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration! I have one more card to show you using the Monkeying Around Collection! This week I used the Grooming Monkeys image from the Monkey Antics Set.

The monkey image is colored with pencils and mineral spirits and cut with the matching die. The mat is from the Monkeying Around Paper Collection which I trimmed down to size. I then die cut the tropical flowers from the leftover piece using the matching die and popped it on the bottom of the monkeys. The sentiment tag is also from the paper collection which was cut using the Luggage and Tags Die.

For my first project with this collection I used the Relaxin' Monkeys Set for the main image. I also added a palm tree and flowers from the Palm Tree & Monkeys Set and branches from the Monkeying Around Set. The images were colored with pencils and mineral spirits and, except for the main image, were cut with the matching dies. The mat and sentiment were cut from the designer papers. The "window" in the mat was created by using the Cut Mat Create Die.

Be sure to visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the designers have for you using this collection! Emma Lou also has a video showing you how to create a pop up scene using this new collection!
