Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration

Happy Wednesday!

This week I made a card using this beautiful arbor from the Twining Roses Set.  This stamp is SO pretty!  It would be great for weddings or invitations!  I love the iron gate with it too!

I've been doing lots of lavenders and greens and whites lately, hope you're not getting sick of it!  I just love the look of it all!

Make sure to visit HC Blog for all the beautiful creations the Design Team has come up with, you won't be dissapointed!

Blessings!

Kathy

Instructions:  Cut lavender solid cardstock 8 1/2” x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4", and fold.  For mat, cut green designer paper  1 1/2" x 4 1/16”, flowery paper 4” x 4 1/16”, overlap and tape together.  Stamp sentiment on bottom with Onyx Black Ink and heat emboss with Detail Clear Embossing Powder.  (I did this to speed up the drying time on this type paper.)

On Solar White Cardstock, stamp arbor image, cut out with largest Floral Oval Die framing the image, and cut off the bottom just below the image.  Color with Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits.  Stamp 1 each flying bird, large butterfly, and small butterfly with black ink and heat emboss with Detail Clear.  Color with Purple Hydrangea Ink and make-up sponge applicator then cut out with matching dies.

Cut the gate with green paper, matching the mat.  Adhere to the arbor with glue dots on left side and pop dots on right side.  Add metal stickers as shown.  Glue image to the card front.  Add lace and twill tape using Scor-tape.  Make bow with Bow-Easy and adhere as shown with glue dots.  Add adhesive pearls.  Add bird and butterflies with pop dots.
