CottageCutz - Springtime Strawberries

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I have a card using one of the new CottageCutz Dies from the Spring Showers Release called Springtime Strawberries.

I just LOVE this strawberry die, it's so cute!  I used red, green, and white cardstock to cut out the pieces and inked and shaped them a bit.  They were then arranged around the oval from the Oval Doily & Frame Die with a stamped sentiment.  I love how these stand out against the white embossed background with the red card base and ribbon.

These are the dies I used:

Card recipe:

CottageCutz Dies: Springtime Strawberries, Oval Doily & Frame
Stamps: Spring Rose Medallions (JustRite)
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red (SU), olive (Recollections)
Ink: Onyx Black (VersaFine), Forest Moss (Ranger), Real Red (SU), Thatched Straw (VersaMagic)
Accessories: Scrollwork Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Bow-Easy, Stitched Sheer/Satin Ombre Red Ribbon (sample from Really Reasonable Ribbon), adhesive pearls (Kaisercraft)

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge Week #210 - In the Garden
Paper Playtime #12 - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday #84 - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blessings!

Kathy

  2. Absolutely GORGEOUS, Kathy! Those strawberries make your card "yummy" enough to eat. Your cards are always stunning, and this one is just precious. I love the red ribbon and how the red stands out against the white background. VERY pretty, my friend.
Have a blessed week, and thanks again for sharing with us.
