Pink Classic Rose Thank You

Happy Wednesday!

It's that time of the month for Heartfelt Creations' new collection to be released! This month we have the Classic Rose Collection! I LOVE roses, so this one is one of my favorites to date!

Beautiful in color, exquisite in fragrance, and ever so dignified, the rose is one of the most coveted flowers found in chic bouquets, or carefully tended flower gardens.  Breathtaking in bud form, as a blossom gently opening, or in full bloom, it is a flower that calls attention to itself and beckons you to pause and quietly reflect upon its elegance.  Heartfelt Creations invites you to stop, fall quiet and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the new Classic Rose Collection!  Filled with delicate illustrations of roses ranging from buds, to full blossoms, rose wreaths and flower filled vines, the three cling stamp sets and coordinating dies included in this assembling will have you building gorgeous rose gardens filled with varying sizes of dimensional flowers as realistic as those found in nature themselves.  The captivating decorative paper collection will whisk you away to perfectly manicured rose filled grounds, serene meadows where brooks babble and wild roses hold their heads high, and alluring views from charming old world buildings clad in weathered brick and vining florals.  The handsome color palette of regal purples, deep brick like reds, rich corals and leafy greens filled with delicate swirls, stunning brickwork and floral patterns, along with tender handwritten script are among just a few of the magnificent elements found within this graceful paper assembling. So join us as we slow down, enjoy the view and take some time to linger and smell the roses.

Here is my first creation with this beautiful collection!

I used the Classic Rose Cling and Classic Vines Cling Sets for the flowers and leaves creating various size flowers. These were done using Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel on Natural White cardstock and coloring with chalk inks and make-up applicators. The Eyelet Oval Die was used for the scalloped edge oval and the solid center oval. I heat embossed the sentiment on the solid oval using Gold Embossing Powder and edged the oval with a Gold Leafing Pen. The background mat behind the oval is from the Classic Rose Paper Collection.

Be sure to visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see all the beautiful creations by the designers this week using this gorgeous collection!

I'm submitting this to the following challenge:

Watch this video https://youtu.be/wF0ka1vdK7Q to learn how to create flowers in a rose shape.

Instructions: Card measures 4 1/2" x 6". Cut Natural White 9" x 6", score at 4 1/2" and fold crease to make card base. Using pink designer paper from the Classic Rose Paper Collection, cut to 4 5/16" x 5 13/16", ink edges with Perfect Plumeria and add to card base with Scotch Mounting Tape.

Using Eyelet Oval Die and Natural White, die cut Scalloped Edge and Solid Center. Glue Scalloped Edge to card base. On Solid Center, stamp sentiment from Arianna Bird Haven Set with VersaMark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Coat outside edge of Solid Center oval with Gold Leafing Pen and add to Scalloped Edge with Scotch Mounting Tape.

Stamp various flowers from the Classic Rose Cling, 2 sets of leaves from the Classic Rose Cling and 2 stems from the Classic Vines Cling on Natural White with VersaMark then heat emboss with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel applying heat from underneath.  Color flowers with Perfect Plumeria Ink and leaves with Tea Leaves and Spanish Olive Inks using make-up applicators following this tutorial. Die cut with matching dies. Shape flowers using this video tutorial creating different size flowers as desired. Shape leaves by spritzing backs with water and using fingernails as seen in this tutorial.

Make multi-loop fiber bow using Bow-Easy Tool and add as pictured using hot glue gun. Add leaves and flowers using hot glue gun arranging as pictured and clipping stems as needed to fit. Add Minnie Pearl Prills to flower center of single flower. Add adhesive pearls as desired on oval.
