So Special Tropical Toucan

Happy Wednesday!

This week I have another card made with the Tropical Paradise Collection, this time using the beautiful toucan image from the Tropical Parrots Set.

I colored the toucan image with pencils and mineral spirits, so much fun coloring! After coloring it I cut it with the matching die and popped it onto the white mat that was embossed with a folder and a sentiment stamped on the bottom.

Other Products: Paper: Neenah Solar White, White (Recollections), Butter Churn (Coordinations), Tempting Turquoise (Stampin Up); Inks: VersaFine Onyx Black; Accessories: Peacock Alley & Mimosa Seam Binding, Bow-Easy Tool, Triad Leaves EF, adhesive pearls, Prismacolor Pencils: Sunburst Yellow, Goldenrod, Black, Prussian Green, Aquamarine, Scotch Mounting Tape, glue dots, Scor-Tape, mineral spirits, paper stumps

Instructions: Card measures 5 11/16" x 4 7/16". Cut Mimosa cardstock 5 11/16" x 4 7/16" twice. Score one sheet on short side at 1/4", place Scor-Tape about score line and adhere two pieces together to create card base. Cut Tempting Turquoise cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and adhere to base with Scotch Mounting Tape. Cut white cardstock 5 5/16" x 4 1/16", stamp sentiment on bottom right and emboss with folder above sentiment. Add Peacock Alley Seam Binding above sentiment and secure on back. Add to mats with Scotch Mounting Tape.

Stamp toucan image from Tropical Parrots Set on Solar White with Onyx Black Ink. Color with pencils and mineral spirits using paper stumps. Die cut with matching Tropical Parrots Die. Adhere as pictured with Scotch Mounting Tape.

Make 3 loop mini bow with Mimosa Seam Binding and Bow-Easy Tool. Add as pictured using glue dots. Add adhesive pearls as shown.
