Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday, June 9 at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC157. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

Here's my card for the challenge this week!

I love white, black and yellow together!  For my card, I used the Romantic Floral Designs and Thank You Sets.  I love the way the Romantic Floral Designs Set coordinates with the Labels 26 Dies.  I made this into a frame for the Scripture by die cutting the middle with Labels 1 Dies.  The black mat is cut with Decorative Labels 1 and the card base is made from Labels 1.  Really easy card to put together!   I really love the font on the Scripture, so beautiful!

These are the sets I used:

Card recipe:

Stamps: Romantic Floral Designs, Thank You (ODBD)
Paper: Whisper White, Black, Whitewash Butter Churn (Core'dinations)
Ink: Onyx Black (VersaFine)
Accessories: Adhesive pearls (Recollections), ribbon, flowers (Michaels), Labels 1, 26, Decorative Labels 1 (Spellbinders), Bow-Easy
