Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Sweet Lullaby Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for the new Sweet Lullaby Collection release!

Everybody loves a baby, that’s why we’re inviting you to fall in love with the Sweet Lullaby Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  Preserve special moments spent with your little angel in this endearing baby and toddler themed assortment of papers, stamps and dies.   Shades of sunshine yellow, rose- petal pink and baby blue are the perfect complement for delightful hand drawn images of napping infants and frolicking toddlers enjoying their favorite toys and activities.  Six detailed stamp sets are ideal for creating cards, shower invitations, mini albums, scrapbook embellishments and more.  Delicate dies allow you to create lacy baby booties, flowers and a stylish baby carriage. Everything about Sweet Lullaby is precious and adorable…just like your cherished little darlings!

Leave a comment on the blog by May 20th and you will be entered to win the entire collection valued at $150.00.

For my card this week, I used the Sweet Little One and Sweet Lullaby Sentiments Sets.

I just love this adorable image!  I colored it with pencils and mineral spirits to match these beautiful Sweet Lullaby designer papers.  I stamped the sentiment just below the image so that they would both fit in the “frame”.  The “frame” was created by using one of the card fronts in the paper collection and cutting out the center.  I love these card fronts, there's lots you can do with them!

The medallion was made with the Sweet Lullaby Sentiments on cream card stock and white embossing powder and inking the top piece with the “Sweet” sentiment on it.

Here's a close up of the image and medallion for you.

There's lot of gorgeous projects on the HC Blog this week!  Be sure to visit and leave a comment for a chance to win the collection!

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #132 - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by to visit!

Blessings!

  9. Where do I start? OK...the color palette...perfection! I love the framed image of the sleeping baby...which is colored to absolute perfection as well. Then, the clever way you used that die to create a sweet embellishment. This just takes my breath away!
