Happy Wednesday!
It's that time of the week for me to share a little inspiration with Heartfelt Creations! Today I'm using the Birds and Blooms Collection to make a fairly clean and simple card using this sweet Fluffy Birdies image. I just love these little chubby birds!
I colored the image using pencils and mineral spirits and die cut it with Spellbinders Elegant Ovals Die. There is an image and matching die for the birds, leaves and branches, but this time I wanted to do something a little more simple. I did add one flower for the bow, but decided not to add any to the branch and leaves...I didn't want to cover up those adorable birdies! Instead I added dots of Buttercup Liquid Pearls to the branches.
I added a background mat using Spring Blue card stock by Coredinations that I embossed with the Scrollwork Embossing Folder. The bow is made with yellow fiber I have leftover from my days as a weaver. I love making fiber bows as they come out so delicate and don't overpower the project.
Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see all the beautiful creations by the designers this week! Such a talented group of ladies!
I'm submitting this to the following Challenges:

Accessories: Scrollwork Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Elegant Ovals (Spellbinders), glue dots, pop dots, water mister, wax paper, fibers (my stash), Bow-Easy Tool, Buttercup Liquid Pearls (Ranger), mineral spirits, paper stumps, Prismacolor Pencils: Sand, Jasmine, Goldenrod, Light Umber, Chocolate, Espresso, Kelp Green, Marine Green, Mediterranean Blue.
Instructions: Make white card base measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Cut mat with Spring Blue measuring 4 1/16" x 5 5/16", emboss with folder and glue to card base. Stamp Fluffy Birdies image on Solar White with Onyx Black and color with pencils using mineral spirits and paper stumps. Die cut image with Elegant Ovals using wax paper. (The wax paper protects the colored image and makes the release from the die easier.) Add image to card using pop dots. Make multi-loop bow with yellow fibers (or ribbon) and Bow-Easy Tool. Add bow to card as shown using glue dots.
Stamp flowers from Birds and Blooms on Solar White with Teal Zeal Ink and cut with matching Birds And Blooms Die. Color one flower with Mediterranean Blue pencils using mineral spirits and paper stumps. Clip between petals, spray back with water and shape with mat and tool kit. Once dry, add to fiber bow using glue dots. Add Lemon Chiffon Prills to flower center using Art Institute Glue. Add dots of Buttercup Liquid Pearls as shown.
