Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Heartfelt Creations - Floral Dress Collage

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for Heartfelt Creations' new release for April!

Heartfelt Creations invites you to “Celebrate the Journey” with this classic travel-themed collection.  Whether you are traveling around the world or around the block, you will find papers, stamps and dies to document your life’s adventures.  The coordinating stamps and papers feature maps, compass roses, bicycles, hot air balloons, vintage suitcases, boarding passes and postcards. The clever Luggage and Tag die even creates a delightful 3-D suitcase! Soft hues of light green, deep teal, pink and rose merge with subtle, neutral backgrounds that are richly layered with beautiful fonts, flourishes and focal images.  “Celebrate the Journey” is just the ticket for both masculine and feminine projects, the perfect traveling companion for all of life’s journeys great and small.

Leave a comment on the Heartfelt Creation blog by April 15th and you will be entered to win the entire collection valued at $180.00.

For my first project using this new collection, I used the Floral Dress Collage PreCut Set to create a feminine card.

I stamped this beautiful image on pink and aqua designer papers from the collection and colored them with pencils.  Portions of the pink image were fussy cut and pieced on to the aqua image with pop dots.  I added some Sage Advice Mini Prills to the flower centers and an extra flower on the center of the lace bow.  (Complete supplies and instructions are at the end of this post.)

Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see the beautiful creations by the designers this week and leave a comment for a chance to win the entire collection.

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #127 - Anything Goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon #92 - Flowers or Buttons & Bows

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings!

Kathy
