Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Blazing Poppy Layered Circle Card

Happy Wednesday!

Today Heartfelt Creations has a special produce launch - Layered Cards, Shadowboxes & Dies! These are perfect for that special wow gift! For my project this week I used one of the circle layered cards in black.

There are 4 separate pages to this card which is more like an album. I decorated the front, but you can also decorate each page with plenty of room for embellishments in-between the pages. There's about a half inch between each for layered embellishments. Here is a side view so you can see the layers better.

The designer papers and the flowers are from the Blazing Poppy Collection. The leaves are from the Peacock Paisley Collection. I used the designer papers for the base of both. Here's a little close up of the floral arrangement.

Be sure to visit the Heartfelt Creations' Blog to see all the beautiful creations by the designers this week.

I'm submitting this to the following challenge:

Raindrops on Roses Scrapbook Page Holder

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I have a fun project today using the beautiful Raindrops on Roses Collection from Heartfelt Creations!  I bought this 6" x 6" Scrapbook Page Holder at Michaels and thought it would be perfect for the 6" x 6" designer paper blocks in the collection!

Here is the holder showing the cover decorated with lace, ribbon bows, and pearls.  I used the beautiful Raindrops on Rosettes image and Raindrops on Roses Die behind it for the front cover.

Here is a close up of the image that I stamped on Solar White Card stock and colored with pencils and mineral spirits.  It's been a very long time since I colored images with skin and I'm definitely out of practice!

I just love the beautiful colors of these designer papers and tried to color the image to match.  You can see the two new dies behind the image, a green oval shaped lacy die and then two of the other die cut with white.  These dies are so beautiful and have so many possibilities to create with!

These are photos of the individual pages I made with the designer papers.  Each is different and made with the card fronts, tags, and journals blocks from the papers.  Very quick and easy to put together!  You can always add embellishments after adding your photos!

Be sure to visit the HC Blog today to see what the designers have for you!

Heartfelt Creations - Dahlia Bouquet Album

Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a 6" x 6" album using Heartfelt Creations' beautiful stamps, papers and dies!  Here's the front and side.

Click on the photo for a better view

I purchased this Book Binding Album at Hobby Lobby for $7.99, which I thought was a pretty good deal!  It has 8 heavy-duty pages with plenty of space for embellishments inbetween.

For the inside of the album,  I used corner sections of the designer papers and matched them with journal blocks.  I also added solid color mats for some of the journal blocks if they needed it.  Here are photos of the inside.  These aren't very good photos, but I thought it might help you if you wanted to make one of these.  You can also add lots of embellishments inside if you want to!  (You can click on any of the photos for a closer view.)

Aren't these designer papers gorgeous?  I just love these!!!

Well, that's my project for today,I hope you like it and it gives you some inspiration!  Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see the all the designers beautiful creations this week!

I'm submitting this to the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #91 - Anything Goes.

Blessings!
