Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Simply Trust - Proverbs 3:5,6

Hi there!

I made this card for a couple of Challenges using mostly "leftovers" from other projects.  It's amazing what you can do with what you already have, especially if you keep things organized!  All the pieces I used were filed away in my recipe card boxes where I store them.  If you're interested, I posted about this around a year ago.  You can find it here if you want to check it out.  You can also see all my organization posts on my blog by clicking "Organization" under the "Labels" heading on my side bar (way down).

Anyway, I'm submitting this to a couple of challenges at Split Coast Stampers, TLC379 - distressed edges and CAS172 - love.  Distressing is something I never do, I find it distressing lol!  I finally bought a paper distresser from Tonic and it wasn't too bad to do.  For the clean and simple challenge, this about as CAS as I can get although for some it probably isn't very CAS!

I'm also submitting this to Little Birdie Blessings to use Scripture.  Abby has some wonderful thoughts on "Balancing Priorities" talking about Mary and Martha.  For me, this is a daily struggle that I ask God to help me with.

Also, I'm submitting this to Word Art Wednesday Challenge #30 where you can use anything uplifting or Scripture.  I thought I was using the right verse for WAW, but it's actually for Matthew 5:16.  Oh well!

For complete ingredients:

Stamps: Scripture Collection 2 (ODBD)
Paper: White (Georgia Pacific), Solar White (Neenah), Pool Party (SU)
Ink: Onyx Black (VersaFine)
Accessories: Flower & adhesive pearls (Recollections), White Seam Binding (Really Reasonable Ribbon), Elegant Scrollwork (Memory Box), Labels 8 & Elegance M-Bossibilities (Spellbinders), Paper Distressing Tool (Tonic)

That's it for today!  Tomorrow I will be showing you a new stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs' June Release, so stay tuned!!!

Blessings!

Wednesday Inspiration With Heartfelt Creations

Hi there!

It's time for some inspiration with Heartfelt Creations!   Each Wednesday I will be showing you my creations I've made using HC's stamps!  For this week, I've created a card using more of the English Garden Collection released last week.  The main image on the front is from the Tattered Collage Set.  This is the front...

Here's the inside of the card...

This stamp is so beautiful, and it allowed me to die cut some of the flowers to add dimension to it.  The verse within the image is Romans 8:28, a beautiful verse!  I'm submitting this to the Little Birdie Blessings Scripture Thursday Challenge #28, a wonderful site to show your creations that use Scripture on them.  Also, Word Art Wednesday Challenge # 28 using Scripture and an uplifting message on your creation.
