Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Vintage Floral Tag - Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration!  Today I have a vintage floral tag to show you!

(Click on photo for a closer view.)

I really love how this came out!  I love the vintage look of the flowers and leaves with the Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel on the cream card stock.  Coloring with the chalk inks makes this so soft and pretty and much quicker than coloring with pencils.  I only used 2 colors on this also, Aegean Blue and Spanish Olive VersaMagic Inks and applied the color with make-up applicators.  Here's a little close-up for you.

Here's a different angle for you.  I love the beautiful lace on the bottom!

Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see the beautiful creations by the designers this week!  We have a new  member on our Design Team, Loretta Lock, who is returning to the DT.  Welcome Loretta!

You can also see another sneak peek of the new Sweet Lullaby Collection being released next week!

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #131 - Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope I leave you inspired!

Blessings!

Kathy

(Note: Heat emboss from underneath image to keep gold specks.) Cut 2 top corners at 1/2” angle as shown to create tag shape. Ink edges with Antique Linen. Cut Natural White card stock slightly larger than tag, glue to back of blue tag and cut top corners to match. Punch hole on top center for ribbon. Add lace, ribbon, and trim to lower portion of tag using Scor-tape as pictured. On Natural White card stock with VersaMark stamp flowers, leaves, and Celebrate the Journey Sentiments and heat emboss with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel in the same manner as the tag. Color flowers and leaves with chalk inks and die cut with matching dies. Clip flower petals apart and shape with mat and tool kits as desired. Die cut sentiments with matching die and select the Youre the best, the wheel, and medallion, then ink edges with Antique Linen. Assemble by gluing the sentiment, wheel, 1 1/2” circle with Mist card stock together, add to medallion with pop dots, then add to tag as pictured with pop dots. Arrange flowers and leaves on tag as pictured and glue in place with glue gun. Add adhesive pearls to flower centers, bow, and tag. Add Diamond Stickles around pearls in flower centers.
