Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Save the Date Dress

Happy Wednesday!

It's the second Wednesday of the month which means it's time for the Heartfelt Creations new All Glammed Up Collection!

Cue the spotlight and roll out the red carpet because the new All Glammed Up Collection by Heartfelt Creations has arrived! This ultra feminine compilation of glamorous flowing gowns, lavishly flower filled heels and stunning rose accents all showcased in elegant tones of reds, blacks and golds are the perfect combination for any stylish celebration and are sure to have your magnificent paper crafts taking centre stage and dominating the runway! Modern patterns and motifs mixed with eclectic and vintage style lend the perfect blend to any masterpiece whether you wish to dress your project up or down. The grand and regal footwear illustrations coupled with the complementing dies are perfect to create that specialty shaped invitation for a special bridal shower or girls night out. The wide array of sentiment stamps included in the collection are ideal to have on hand for a variety of occasions, while the gracefully detailed and lace like gown and floral sprays and accents are sure to bring that extra touch of splendor to all of your layouts, cards or altered art projects. So channel you inner fashionista, gather your finest glitters, rhinestones, ribbons and laces and join us in celebrating life's beautiful moments with this stylish, timeless and classy collection.

This week I have used the All Dressed Up Set with matching All Dressed Up Die and paired it with one of the card panels from the designer papers that I stamped a sentiment on.

The dress image is colored with pencils and mineral spirits and "popped" onto the panel. Here is a close up of the dress.

Such a pretty image! Love that dress!

Be sure to visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see all the beautiful projects by the designers this week! Emma Lou also has a video this week showing you how to create a card shaped like a shoe and tips for using some of the new rose border dies. Make sure to stop by!

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday #209 - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Blessings!

Kathy

  1. What a precious card for Save The Date. I don't think I'd want to have to make 100-200 of those, but it sure is AMAZING! I love the stamp set too! Thanks so much for taking time to stop by and link up in our challenge this week. I appreciate it SO much, and hope that you will have a wonderfully blessed week.
