Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Kathy

ODBDSLC114 - Anything Goes

Happy Saturday!

It's time for a new Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs!

Before I show you the challenge, I wanted to let you know about a change that is being made.  The challenge day will be changed from Saturdays to Tuesdays being on July 3rd.  This week's challenge will be extended through Sunday, July 8th at 8 pm EST.  From now on, all Shining the Light Challenges will begin on Tuesdays at 8 am EST and end on Sundays at 8 pm EST.  This coming Tuesday, July 3rd, we will all show you more creations for this Anything Goes Challenge.

I've been blessed to be asked to stay on the Challenge Team for the next six months, along with the rest of the Team.  We will be losing Debi Southard on the CT, but she will be returning back to the Design Team where she was previously.  This will be Debi's last creation on the CT, so please leave her a little love on her Blog if you can!

Next week we will also have a new guest designer: Sherry Kushibab. Sherry is an amazing paper crafter and Christian women who has participated regularly in our challenges. I know you will enjoy her creations. Welcome Sherry!! We can't wait to see your creations as a guest designer!!
Now, time for this week's challenge!

This week it's "Anything Goes"!  One of my favorite types of challenges!
