I have two cards to show you using the gorgeous new collection this week.  The first is "Door to My Heart":

On this card I used the heart door and sentiment from the Passage to My Heart Set.  The background image is one of the journal blocks from the designer paper...so gorgeous!  (You can click on the photo for a better view and the complete instructions are at the bottom of the post.)


The second card is called "To a Beautiful You":

This card has a combination of four different sets from the collection, Timeless Rosette (the fussy cut flowers), Passage to My Heart (the heart image), Timeless Lace (the background), and Timeless Sentiments Sets.

Instructions:

Base: Cut Bravo Burgundy 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4", and fold.  For mat, cut cream cardstock 4 1/16” x 5 5/16”, emboss with folder, and ink edges with Vintage Photo Ink.  Adhere a piece velvet ribbon on lower part of mat and glue mat to card.

Image: Cut journal block from designer paper (measures 3” x 4”), add mat with Bravo Burgundy measuring 4 3/16” x 3 3/16” and glue together.  Add mat to base with pop dots.

Embellishments: Stamp door heart with Onyx Black on Solar White, color with pencils, and cut with matching die.  Cut opening in door with craft knife down center and little to the left, then curl up door slightly.  With Bravo Burgundy, cut small lattice heart and insert through door and adhere together.  Add door image to card with pop dots as shown.  Stamp sentiment on cream cardstock, cut with Labels 18 die, and ink edges with Vintage Photo Ink.  Cut small metal fixture with Bravo Burgundy and cut small strip to “hang” sentiment.  Glue fixtures as shown and add sentiment with pop dots.  Make bow with Bow-Easy and add to card with 2 small strips of pearl strings using glue dots.  Add adhesive pearls as shown.

Instructions:

Card base: With Burgundy cardstock, cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4", and fold.  Mat: with light green designer paper and Always Artichoke Ink, stamp background (Timeless Lace).  Trim around image with scissors to fit on card base as a mat as shown.  Adhere to card with lace under the bottom of mat as shown.  Glue piece of burgundy velvet ribbon across mat.

Image: On Solar White with Onyx Black, stamp heart image (Passage to My Heart) and color with pencils as desired.  Trim heart with scissors leaving 1/8” border and ink edge of border with Always Artichoke Ink.  Die cut lace heart with Capers cardstock and glue to top of heart image.  Add to card with pop dots.

Embellishments: With Solar White and Onyx Black, stamp rose flourish (Timeless Rosette), color with pencils, and fussy cut the 3 flowers.  On light colored designer paper, stamp sentiment, trim with scissors, distress edges, and ink with Always Artichoke.  Make bow with Bow-Easy.  Add flowers, sentiment, and pearls to card as shown.
