This beautiful fence image is from the "Missing You" Stamp Set. I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits. The sentiment is also from the set pictured here:
Either Bible verse would be perfect for the inside of the card too.
For my border, I used the Classic Petals and Classic Decorative Inserts Four from Spellbinders to create this.
Card recipe:
Stamps: Missing You (ODBD)
Paper: Whisper White (Neenah), So Saffron, Mocha Devine, Rain Forest
Ink: Onyx Black (VersaFine), Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Ribbon, jute cord, wood button, adhesive pearls, Branch punch, sponge, Classic Scalloped Ovals, Classic Ovals Large, Classic Petals, Classic Decorative Inserts Four (Spellbinders), decorative label punch, mineral spirits, Prismacolor Pencils: Kelp Green, Black, Chocolate, Dark Brown, Sand, Sage Green, Blue Violet Lake, Violet Blue, Dioxazine Purple Hue, Ginger Root, Sandbar Brown, Espresso, Lilac

This is one of my many favorite stamp sets. Gorgeous card.
ReplyDeleteThe green and saffron are such a wonderful colour combination - and for me, blue flowers are one of the first signs that spring is coming in. I love your gorgeous border and that little wooden button - a perfect rustic look with the ribbon.
ReplyDeleteDioxazine purple - oh my, I don't think I've seen that in writing since I used to work in distribution of fine art supplies. Seeing that in your list of supplies was a real trip down memory lane.
Just DARLING, Kathy. I can never get enough, and it just bring me such happiness when you share your darling creations with us in our challenges. Lucky me!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...so peaceful, and I really like the special touch the gingham ribbon adds to the card...for a "country" feel.
ReplyDeleteLove this image, Kathy and it's colored so beautifully! The gingham and the wooden heart accent add to the charm...what a gorgeous border creation! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteSuch intricacies in your card, the coloring is amazing. delphinium , lilies and what might the other be. The picket fence tells it's own story of days gone by when people stopped to say hii.
Thank you for joining us at Word Art Wednesday.
